Terms & Conditions
All orders must be sent via e-mail. Phone orders are not accepted. Order summary and proof will be sent after the purchase order and artwork is received from client. Orders are not confirmed or placed until the order summary and proof are approved in writing. Submission of a PO does not constitute order placement.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, all orders are to be paid in full prior to production. Accepted forms of payment are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Company Cheque, Direct Deposit or Electronic Transfer.
Changes to an order already confirmed must be made in writing with an amended PO. Order changes are not confirmed until a revised order summary and proof are approved in writing. Shipping delays and additional charges may apply. Change requests made via e-mail or telephone cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellations, Returns, Claims
Order cancellations must be provided in writing. In the event that an order is already in production, labour, supplies, and other costs will be billed accordingly. Return requests and claims must be submitted in writing within 10 business days of receipt of product. Product must be kept in its original condition in order to be eligible for returns or claims.
Standard production time is 5 or 10 business days, depending on the product, after proof and order summary approval unless otherwise noted. This does not include shipping to destination. We may ship earlier than the specified date to ensure timely arrival. Standard production time cannot be guaranteed from October-December due to high volume.
Rush orders include any order confirmed with an in-hands date fewer than the standard 5 or 10 business days, depending on the product, following approval of proof and order summary. Rush orders are subject to a minimum 15% rush fee.
Orders to destinations within Canada ship F.O.B. Toronto. Orders to destinations within the United States ship F.O.B. Buffalo. All freight charges and applicable taxes are extra and will be billed accordingly. We ship via FedEx, UPS and other carriers as required. We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays caused by couriers, national disasters, or anything else beyond our reasonable control. Carriers may bill us for address corrections and other charges which will be invoiced accordingly if inaccurate information was provided.
Third Party Shipping
We are happy to ship with third party shipper account numbers at an additional charge of $5.00 per location. Valid zip codes/postal codes associated with the accounts must be provided. If zip codes/postal codes are not valid, shipments will be charged to our account and invoiced accordingly.
For split shipments, add $4.00 per address; if above 10 locations add $3.00 for mailers. Proper addresses must be submitted 10 days before ship date, in an Excel file provided by your sales rep.
Warm Weather Shipping
If the outside temperature exceeds 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit), insulated coolers with ice packs will be required for many items. The product will remain cool for 2 days. Expedited shipping is required for locations beyond a 2-day ground ship zone. For standard shipments, add $15.00 per cooler, per location. Number of coolers required varies based on item and order quantity.
Accepted file types: AI, EPS, PDF, PNG Artwork should be provided at 300 dpi or higher. Vector artwork is recommended for best results. A design fee of $70G per hour is charged for editing, creating, or correcting of artwork.
The CFIA & FDA limit the amount of certain colourants we can use in food products, limiting us from printing true colour. We cannot guarantee a 100% colour match with our edible printing products. Due to the nature of edible ink printing, slight colour variation and changes may occur over time.
Less Than Minimum
$35.00G for orders less than minimum. The absolute minimum order for each product is 50% of the minimum.
Samples & Mock-Ups
Mock-ups are free of charge. The estimated turnaround time is 24 hours. Tasting samples are free of charge and limited to what is fresh in stock. Some exclusions apply. Shipper account must be provided, or the cost of shipping must be paid upfront. Spec samples are subject to a fee of $20.00, plus shipping. Standard production times apply. For samples of items priced above $20.00, please contact us for a quote.
All artwork or copy submitted by the customer to produce their order must be submitted in full compliance with all applicable laws regarding trademark, service mark, copyright, right to privacy, patent or similar protection. Branded Bites cannot be held liable or responsible for any infringement resulting from artwork or copy provided by the client.
